This event is part of the An Evening with a Laureate (AEW) program developed by the National Science & Technology Medals Foundation (NSTMF) to champion the work and lives of America’s greatest scientists and technologists and connecting these extraordinary individuals to the next generation by sharing their personal narratives of commitment, struggle, perseverance, and success. Each AEW event includes a formal interview with a moderator, an open Q&A session between the audience and the Laureate followed by a reception where audience members can meet the Laureate. their personal narratives with individuals all over the country. This particular event will be moderated by Dr. Paula Hammond, who will be interviewing Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson in the Silverman Skyline and Winter Garden Rooms of the MIT Media Lab.

Our mission is to support women in all scientific fields and to achieve equity and full participation for women in science, mathematics, engineering, and technology.
