• • Learn more about the national AWIS mission from Dr. Joanne Kamens. She will discuss her career trajectory and her role as a member of the Board of Directors for AWIS National. Dr. Kamens received her PhD in genetics from Harvard Medical School and has had a varied career with positions in academia, pharma, biotech, and nonprofit organizations. She has been advocating for diversity and inclusion in science for decades, including her role as the founder of the Boston chapter of the Association for Women in Science.
