The goal of this symposium is to promote the creation of leadership positions for early career scientists to ensure their representation during decision-making conversations that affect the future of the scientific enterprise.

Friday November 17 will feature keynote speakers (the incredible Kenny Gibbs from NIH and Nick Shockey from SPARC), a panel discussion, and a networking reception. The following morning will consist of interactive workshops to design an action plan to advocate for the creation of leadership positions.
