MASS AWIS is offering its members an exclusive opportunity to make professional connections across a variety of career paths. ‘Join Me for Coffee’ gives a chance to meet with a STEM professional for 1 hour at a coffee shop or café. Participants will not only learn about that person’s career but also establish a new professional connection. These events are a great opportunity for participants to practice networking in an intimate setting, a skill that helps open doors to meaningful careers in STEM. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
The upcoming ‘Join Me for Coffee’ event series will feature Lori Rudolph-Owen. If you would like to participate in this ‘Join Me for Coffee’ event, first complete the event application form. A committee will then review all applications and select 4-6 participants for each event. Selected applicants will be notified by email at least one week prior to the event. Upon selection notification, you will be required to formally register for the event and pay the registration fee via our secure website. Selected applicants who fail to complete registration on time forfeit the opportunity to participate.
Lori Rudolph-Owen , PhD
Senior Vice-President, R&D Strategy and Operations, Goldfinch Bio
Dr. Lori Rudolph-Owen brings over 20 years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology R&D specifically in strategic planning, program leadership, development operations and driving effective cross-functional collaboration. Lori joined Goldfinch Bio in February of 2018 is currently the Senior Vice President of R&D Strategy and Operations.
Prior to joining Goldfinch, Lori served at the Vice President of Portfolio Management and Assessment at TESARO, Inc where she developed and led a team of Development Program Team Leaders, Portfolio Managers and Competitive Intelligence professionals to support the submission, approval and launch for 3 US and 2 European oncology products as well as the filing of 3 INDs. She also held positions of increasing drug development leadership responsibility at Pfizer, AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Abraxis BioScience (now Celgene), MGI Pharma (now Eisai) and Vertex.
Dr. Rudolph-Owen received her PhD in Cell Biology at Vanderbilt University. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship, she moved to Boston to join Millennium Pharmaceuticals as an Oncology Discovery Scientist before transitioning over to Drug
Development Program Leadership at Vertex.
