The Gender of Science and the Science of Gender

Cell Press and the Massachusetts Chapter of the Association for Women in Science (MASS AWIS) would like to cordially invite you to a free, one-day symposia organized by scientists in conjunction with Cell Press editors and feature local and keynote speakers discussing a unified topic in order to foster interactions between colleagues working on related questions. The theme of this particular LabLinks will intermix biomedical research talks with sociological discussions. The keynote speakers will be Dr. Londa Schiebinger, the John L. Hinds Professor of History of Science at Stanford University, and Dr. Catherine Dulac, the Higgins Professor of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Harvard University. Besides keynote talks, there will also be panel discussions and presentations. As with all Cell Press LabLinks, this is a not-for-profit event and will be free for attendees.
